I have posted some awesome Risa Niigaki photos from her 2007 photo book called Isshun on my magazine style page Asian Celebs Hut. The photos were taken in Okinawa and show the former Morning Musume idol singer running along the beach or just posing in a few different kinds of bikinis! And she is also seen running around in Okinawa. But the bikini shots of Niigaki are the best! In 2012, Niigaki released the photo book Ascension just before she graduated from Morning Musume. Here is one amazing photo of Niigaki from that photo session which will amaze you!
It is not as good as the one called 10 MY ME but fans of Morning Musume should still enjoy Rainbow 7. Also, I deleted the post about Ai Kago’s divorce because I have already written about her on my magazine style website at Asian Celebs Hut. Remember to click on the title of the song that you want to play. One of my favorites on that album is the song called Purple Window.
Sakura Oda (Oda Sakura) is the only member to pass the auditions for the 11th generation of Morning Musume. She is also one of its youngest members being only 17 years old. Project 2012 WINTER Hello☆Pro Tengoku concerts as a background dancer. But she did not officially start her work with Morning Musume until the Hello! 2013 saw Oda being involved in activities not having to do with singing. On April 11, 2013, she started blogging in the 10th generation members’ blog. She held a few fan club events that year. The first of these events was called Morning Musume Oda Sakura Solo Event ~Sakura no Shirabe~. This one was held on August 22nd of that year. The second such fan club event that she held was held on November 14th. She also used to be part of the unit called ODATOMO with Tomoko Kanazawa, sub-leader of idol group Juice=Juice.
In the summer of 2014, Oda took part in her first ever stage play called LILIUM -Lilium Shoujo Junketsu Kageki-. Her role was that of the character Sylvatica. On July 5th 2014, she held a fan club event in which she challenged herself to sing more difficult songs of Hello! Project, including an English cover of the song Let It Go. On May 27, 2016, she released her first solo photo book called Sakura Moyou. Below are some of the photos from that photo book.

Mizuki Fukumura, band leader for Morning Musume 17 has been named the first ever sub-leader for the Hello! Project label of artists. I just found out about this news when I was searching for more updates about Mizuki. The news was announced at an event called Hello! Project Countdown Party 2016 Good Bye and Hello! This is a special concert that is held every year to countdown to the new year. The concert was held on December 31, 2016 at the Nakano Sun Plaza.
In addition, it was also announced that ANGERME member Wada Ayaka (Ayaka Wada) would be replacing Yajima Maimi (Maimi Yajima) as the 6th leader of Hello! Project.
Fukumura released a photo book called MIZUKI back in 2013. She has since released two other photo books including Kagayaki. She became leader of Morning Musume after the graduation of Sayumi Michishige. She is known as Fukumura Mizuki in Japan. Congratulations to Mizuki Fukumura for getting an extra position in the Japanese entertainment industry! And as an added bonus, here is a look at Mizuki Fukumura from her latest Blu-Ray release:
In my earlier post about the first generation of Morning Musume, I asked readers what their favorite first generation member of Morning Musume was. Now, I would like to know who is your favorite second generation member? The second generation had three members that were introduced. These women were Sayaka Ichii, Mari Yaguchi, and Kei Yasuda. Here is a brief description of each of these members:
Sayaka Ichii (born December 31, 1983)
This Chiba Japan singer and bikini model turned 33 at the end of 2016. She was married to Naoki Yoshizawa, guitarist of the band CUBIC-CROSS from 2004 through 2011. Ichii divorced Yoshizawa, citing that he had an uncooperative attitude in raising their two daughters. Ichii graduated from Morning Musume in May 2000 after the release of the single Happy Summer Wedding. She has remarried, given birth to a boy in 2013 and is expecting her fourth child in spring 2017. Ichii released her only photo book called Self in February 2002. The photo book shows Ichii in a bikini or in an awesome one-piece swimsuit as she is relaxing!
Mari Yaguchi (born January 20, 1983)
This Kanagawa, Japan native was once the leader of Morning Musume. In 2013, she became involved in an extramarital affair. She was in bed with model Kenzo Umeda. Yaguchi and her now ex-husband Masaya Nakamura eventually divorced after the affair. I think that Yaguchi is one of the lesser attractive Morning Musume members.
Kei Yasuda (born December 6, 1980)
This beautiful second generation member dropped out of high school to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She released her only solo photo book called Kei in 2002. In May 2013, she married Yoichi Ozaki who is an Italian food cooking researcher and has two restaurants in Tokyo.
Morning Musume started as a pop idol group back in September 1997. But how did they become the group known as Morning Musume 17? I will recap all the events that led up to this moment by the way of this website.
It was released on January 29, 2014. In March 2014, the group would hold what was called Morning Musume 14 Golden Audition to try and recruit new members for the group. They would not be successful in doing so until the fall of 2014 when 4 new members were chosen to be part of the group. It was also in 2014 that I first wrote about Ayumi Ishida of Sendai. I also did my first biographical writing of Sayaka Ichii (now 33).
I also wrote back in April 2015 that Morning Musume was known by the name of Morning Musume 15. They had and still have Mizuki Fukumura as their band leader. Fukumura released her first photo book called MIZUKI back in 2013. The photos for that book were taken in Guam. As Morning Musume 16, their 6oth single called “Tsumetai Kaze to Kataomoi / ENDLESS SKY / One and Only” made it to the top of the Oricon Music Charts!
There are some updates to Morningmusume14japan! I reorganized the content so that everything is on the left side of the screen. For music lovers, I have also added a music player in the main sidebar area. You can play songs from the album called 10 MY ME. I am now using the Twenty Eleven theme from WordPress. This site will constantly be updated as time permits. To those of you that have visited this site and left comments, thank you so much! My goal is to provide a site that is easy to navigate and a place where you can always find the latest news about Morning Musume!
Note: the group now goes by the name of Morning Musume 17. They were known as Morning Musume from 1997 through 2013. For more information about the group, you can also visit my magazine style website at Asian Celebs Hut. Have a wonderful day!
