Ayumi Ishida, the Japanese idol singer from Sendai whom I consider as one of my role models is now in another year as a member of the group now known as Morning Musume 18. It is time for me to say another big THANK YOU to this Japanese idol singer who is a member of the group’s 10th generation. It is through the power of appreciation that I extend my deepest gratitude and love to a member that has been with Morning Musume since 2011, released four photo books, and has the cutest face in the group among the active members. Ishida, 21, released her 4th solo photo book called 20th Canvas on April 27, 2018. Here is a photo from that photo book 20th Canvas (image source: http://helloproject.wikia.com/wiki/20th_canvas) For more photo book sessions of Morning Musume members, you can view the photo book Natsumi by Natsumi Abe, or her other photo books including SUBWAY and Fin No Hito. Let’s remember that there is Sayumi Michishige’s Mille Feuille photo book or Blue Rose, the last one that she released as a member of Morning Musume. But this space belongs as a space to thank the great Ayumi Ishida of Sendai! Much love and gratitude to you my dear ♥♥! And thank you to all of the people around the world that have viewed this website and have enjoyed it. You are important as well. But Ayumi Ishida: may you be loved, may you be happy, may you be peaceful, and may you be the most successful idol singer of your generation!
I’ve already written a few posts about Japanese idol and Morning Musume 17 member Ayumi Ishida of Sendai. Now, it is time to thank her and say that she is one of my role models! Yes indeed that is correct! Ishida who is my favorite member of the 10th generation has been an idol since the name of the group was still called Morning Musume.
She has been a member for all of the name changes the group has had including Morning Musume 15, Morning Musume 16, and Morning Musume 17. Thank you Ayumi Ishida for your smile! Thank you Ayumi Ishida for your friendly personality! Thank you Ayumi Ishida for your contributions to the group since you joined in 2011. Ishida has also been a member of the group being involved in some of the activities the group has done since 2013. I also mention on my main website about how Morning Musume has become a huge pop cultural influence especially in Japan. Ishida has also been a member of Morning Musume for their 59th single called Oh My Wish which was released in August 2015. Ishida who will be 21 years old in January 2018 also has recorded her own version of the single called Wagamama ki no Mama Ai no Joke. The English translation for the song is Selfish Easygoing Jokes of Love. That is one of the best songs in the history of Morning Musume. If you have not heard the song yet, I encourage you to listen to it and you will see how great the song is! Ishida has also been a member of the group when Mizuki Fukumura took over as the group’s leader. She has also seen the debut of the group’s 13th generation. Ishida has been with the group for almost seven years and I am so thankful that she is one of my role models!
This is the group’s 63rd major single and it is also the group’s first new single under the name Morning Musume 17. The single is also the first time that new members Kaede Kaga and Reina Yokoyama will sing in one of the group’s singles. However, member Masaki Sato did not take part in the singles because she was still recovering from what is called Spinal Disc Herniation. The double A-side single was released on March 8, 2017 in five different editions and these were 3 limited editions and 2 regular editions. The regular editions of the single came with a random trading card of 13 kinds and this depended on the jacket covers. The limited editions came with an event lottery serial number card.
Sakura Oda (Oda Sakura) is the only member to pass the auditions for the 11th generation of Morning Musume. She is also one of its youngest members being only 17 years old. She is now a member of the group known as Morning Musume 17. Born on March 12, 1999 in Kanagawa, Oda took part in the event called Hello! Project 2012 WINTER Hello☆Pro Tengoku concerts as a background dancer. But she did not officially start her work with Morning Musume until the Hello! 2013 saw Oda being involved in activities not having to do with singing. On April 11, 2013, she started blogging in the 10th generation members’ blog. She held a few fan club events that year. The first of these events was called Morning Musume Oda Sakura Solo Event ~Sakura no Shirabe~. This one was held on August 22nd of that year. The second such fan club event that she held was held on November 14th. She also used to be part of the unit called ODATOMO with Tomoko Kanazawa, sub-leader of idol group Juice=Juice.
In the summer of 2014, Oda took part in her first ever stage play called LILIUM -Lilium Shoujo Junketsu Kageki-. Her role was that of the character Sylvatica. On July 5th 2014, she held a fan club event in which she challenged herself to sing more difficult songs of Hello! Project, including an English cover of the song Let It Go. On May 27, 2016, she released her first solo photo book called Sakura Moyou. Below are some of the photos from that photo book.

Morning Musume started as a pop idol group back in September 1997. But how did they become the group known as Morning Musume 17? I will recap all the events that led up to this moment by the way of this website.
It was released on January 29, 2014. In March 2014, the group would hold what was called Morning Musume 14 Golden Audition to try and recruit new members for the group. They would not be successful in doing so until the fall of 2014 when 4 new members were chosen to be part of the group. It was also in 2014 that I first wrote about Ayumi Ishida of Sendai. I also did my first biographical writing of Sayaka Ichii (now 33).
I also wrote back in April 2015 that Morning Musume was known by the name of Morning Musume 15. They had and still have Mizuki Fukumura as their band leader. Fukumura released her first photo book called MIZUKI back in 2013. The photos for that book were taken in Guam. As Morning Musume 16, their 6oth single called “Tsumetai Kaze to Kataomoi / ENDLESS SKY / One and Only” made it to the top of the Oricon Music Charts!
Idol group Morning Musume 17 has released a video about miso soup. Well, actually the video is a re-done version of their hit-song called Morning Coffee. The title of the song is called Morning Miso Soup. The song was done again to celebrate the group’s ad campaign with the miso paste company called Marukome. Morning Miso Soup is more modern version of the original song.
Morning Musume 17 will also release their first single of 2017. It is called Brand New Morning/Jealously Jealously. It is an A-side single that will be released on March 8, 2017. Don’t worry, the biography of Reina Tanaka will be coming up soon!
